Behavioral Health Clinician Role

Optum is seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician/Therapist to join our team in Middlebury, CT. As a member of our Behavioral Care Team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
In this rewarding role, you will treat a wide range of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our dynamic patient population. Your responsibilities will include conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations, providing ongoing medication management, and participating in enriching training experiences for graduate students. You will also have opportunities to represent our practice in community presentations and lectures.
To excel in this position, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness. A master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required, along with a clear, active, and unrestricted license in Connecticut. Prior experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation is highly valued.

Our salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually, based on your qualifications and experience.
