We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician Specialist to join our team in Middlebury, CT. As a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician/Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral and mental health treatments to our diverse patient population.

Job Description

As a Mental Health Clinician Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Forming excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinating care with external providers
  • Conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations and providing ongoing medication management
  • Participating in enriching the training experience of our graduate students
  • Screening and assessing patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Providing treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
  • A clear, active, and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in Connecticut
  • 2+ years professional social work/clinical experience post-Master's degree
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
