About the Role

We're seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician/Therapist to join our team in Middlebury, CT. As a member of our Behavioral Care Team, you'll play an integral part in making healthcare better for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions, providing patients with behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.
  • Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers.
  • Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
  • Participate in enriching the training experience of our graduate students.
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods.
  • Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
  • Opportunities to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
  • Clear, active, and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC) in Connecticut.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $73,450, based on market data and location.
