Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Crane Operations Project Supervisor plays a vital role in the execution of tank installations, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough site assessments and collaborating with clients and construction managers to determine lift specifications, necessary crane types, and additional equipment for tank installations.
  • Providing detailed cost estimates based on required equipment and workforce.
  • Developing comprehensive lift plans and associated diagrams for client validation and in response to requests for quotations.
  • Coordinating crane operations, scheduling lifts, and managing all necessary equipment for successful project execution, while supervising on-site activities.
  • Serving as the lead lift supervisor, actively engaging in hands-on outdoor operations.

Qualifications:

  • A 2 or 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of experience in crane operations; or 10 years of crane and rigging experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role or equivalent expertise in the crane and rigging sector, validated by relevant licenses or certifications.
  • Exhibiting strong spatial awareness and reasoning abilities.
  • Complying with established safety protocols and standards at work sites.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 60% of the time, across various regions.
