The ideal candidate will be a registered and licensed Dietitian with substantial clinical expertise.
This role involves overseeing team members and operational processes, utilizing proficiency in EPIC, representing the department in clinical meetings, and conducting medical record audits to ensure compliance with nutrition care standards and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities will be executed in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of five years in a dietitian role.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Human Nutrition, or a related discipline.
Certifications:
Must hold a Registered and Licensed Dietitian credential. Additional certifications such as ASPEN, AADDE, CNSD, CDE Pediatric, or Renal certification are preferred.
Additional Skills:
Strong leadership capabilities, proficient reading and writing skills, and EPIC superuser status or the ability to achieve it. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to provide patient care. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances.
Proficiency in EMR and nutrition software is expected.
