Job Title: Sales Professional
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Professional to join our team at Toyota of Glendale. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales: Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; take test drives; compare and contrast competitive models; and explain warranties and services.
- Customer Service: Help customers with vehicle selection and promote model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies.
- Test Drives: Conduct vehicle test drives and ensure all speed limits and other rules of the road are followed.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously learn about product updates, features, accessories, and inventory and their benefits to the customers.
- Delivery: Help facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements.
- Objection Handling: Learn to overcome objections, ask for the sale, negotiate price, complete sales or purchase agreement, and explain and offer warranties service and finance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate sales documentation.
- CSI: Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) a MUST.
- Follow-up: Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions.
- Sale Closure: Negotiate sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion.
- Prospecting: Prospect daily for potential customers and maintain consistent rapport with previously sold customers.
- Reporting: Provide sales management information by completing required reports.
- Training: Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
- Company Values: Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years' experience in automotive sales experience preferred but willing to train.
- Previous Experience: Previous sales or customer service experience (any industry) a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Teamwork: Must be able to develop relationships with vendors and work well in a process-driven environment.
- Professionalism: Must conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- Confidence: Must have confidence in your ability to be successful.
- Teamwork: Must strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Self-Starter: Self-starter and self-motivator.
- Bilingual: Bilingual a PLUS.
