Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Montefiore Medical Center's standards of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Manage unit budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of personnel and supplies.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a NICU or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
