Defense SCM Compliance Specialist

Spirit AeroSystems, a leading manufacturer of aerostructures, is seeking a highly skilled Defense SCM Compliance Analyst 3 to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's Defense Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:- Conduct monthly audits and reviews of Defense SCM procurement activities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement a monthly review/audit system, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to measure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Distribute KPIs and metrics to Defense stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate individual and team SCM training based on review findings and KPI performance to ensure a culture of compliance.
- Develop and maintain revision-controlled documents and forms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Construct and update SCM business writings to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Interact and communicate with SCM and other key stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
- Ensure Defense SCM maintains an audit-ready position at all times.
- Participate in internal and external audits or assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with diverse levels of internal and external customers and government personnel to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards within Defense Compliance to drive continuous improvement.
- 6-9 years' experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or other relevant course of study.
- US Citizenship status and the ability to obtain and withhold a security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP Systems.
- High energy, dynamic personality with an ability to effect change.
- Limited travel may be required.
- Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, investigation, and resolution of complex procurement process issues.
- Supply Chain knowledge with a large defense contractor.
- Experience preparing Supply Chain and other functional organizations for Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR).
- Experience interacting with Government Agencies such as DCMA and DCAA.
