Veterinary Care Specialist

At Animal Clinic East, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our veterinarians to deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients, utilizing a range of technical skills, including diagnostic sample collection, catheter placement, and radiography.
- Support veterinarians in delivering exceptional veterinary care during preventative, injury, and illness visits.
- Advocate for patients and educate clients on their care and treatment.
- Assist with patient procedures and surgeries, including anesthetic induction and monitoring, pre and post-operative patient care, and surgical suite maintenance.
- Obtain accurate and complete health histories from clients and document them in our electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician with an active state license or a student in an accredited Veterinary Technology program.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a small animal clinical setting.
- Superior technical knowledge and skills, including proficiency in medical math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a positive attitude.
