In partnership with medical professionals, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing support. The RN acts as a patient advocate to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Execute procedures or functions as directed by the medical provider.
- Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment utilized in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree.
