We are in search of a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Short Stay Unit at Methodist Hospital Texsan to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to all patients.

Your Responsibilities:
You will apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care independently.
You will collaborate with the patient care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.You will demonstrate effective communication, confidence, and professionalism through active participation in unit and organizational activities.
You will exemplify teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource for the patient care team.
You will be accountable for providing quality nursing services and promoting a positive image of the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree).
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License required within 90 days of hire for those with a Compact License).
- Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Certification.
Join our specialized Post Cardiac Short Stay Unit, featuring:
- An 8-bed unit with a collaborative RN/LVN team model.
- Care for patients post-cardiac procedures, including pacemaker placements, catheterizations, and electrophysiology cases.
- A fast-paced short stay unit.
- A nationally recognized Beacon Award-winning unit for Nursing Excellence.
- Comprehensive educational offerings, including presentations by physicians.
- Proficiency training for specialized equipment.
- Experienced charge nurses and unit leadership.
This high-functioning specialized unit provides Registered Nurses with the opportunity to thrive in their roles.
No weekend shifts required.
This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination as per local, state, and/or federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
