Environmental Science Professional

Dewberry is seeking a talented Environmental Science Intern to join our Richmond, VA office for the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to apply their academic knowledge in the environmental field and gain hands-on experience working with a team of professionals.
A housing stipend may be provided to eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist professionals with work related to natural resource inventory, analysis, wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required

Program Information
Our Summer Intern Program provides interns with hands-on project experience, technical skills development, and the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting. Interns are assigned meaningful work and participate in a series of workshops and events, including networking opportunities, professional development workshops, and a summer-long group project.
Our interns gain valuable experience working alongside firm leaders and have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.
