**Job Summary**

Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Technician to join our Environmental Group in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technically sound products that meet internal and external client expectations, on time and on/under budget.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with field investigations and report preparations
  • Perform wetland delineations and wetland data forms
  • Joint permit applications (JPAs) and Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments
  • Threatened and endangered species searches and wetland mitigation monitoring
  • Assist with NEPA documents and provide technical support for field decisions

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Science or a closely related discipline
  • Experience in wetland science, plant identification, and soils classification
  • Strong technical verbal and writing skills, and ability to read technical literature and engineering plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to apply professional knowledge to routine and non-routine tasks
  • Ability to work in all types of weather and demanding outdoor conditions
