We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Operations Manager to join our team at Standard Chartered. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and a proven track record of leading regulatory operations strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory operations strategies to ensure compliance with US regulatory obligations, including CFTC and SEC regulations.
  • Lead the promotion and execution of regulatory operations initiatives across the Americas, working closely with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, external vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of regulatory operations with business processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the business on regulatory matters, including advising on regulatory changes and their impact on business operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, including the CFTC and SEC, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate regulatory risks, including identifying and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role within regulatory operations, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US regulatory requirements, including CFTC and SEC regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate and manage change effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
