Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement regulatory operations strategies to ensure compliance with US regulatory obligations, including CFTC and SEC regulations.
- Lead the promotion and execution of regulatory operations initiatives across the Americas, working closely with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, external vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the development and implementation of processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of regulatory operations with business processes.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the business on regulatory matters, including advising on regulatory changes and their impact on business operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, including the CFTC and SEC, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mitigate regulatory risks, including identifying and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Proven experience in a similar role within regulatory operations, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of US regulatory requirements, including CFTC and SEC regulations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate and manage change effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
