About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the ICU Stepdown unit. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU Stepdown unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current RN license
  • One year of recent ICU experience, preferably in a stepdown unit
  • BSN degree or higher preferred
  • Specialty certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) preferred
