Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the inventory of blood and blood products, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.
  • Prepare and ship orders of blood and blood products, conducting thorough visual inspections to ensure order accuracy.
  • Deliver products to Vitalant customers in a company vehicle, maintaining a high level of professionalism and safety.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order fulfillment, turnaround times, and product availability.
  • Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
  • Monitor storage requirements, service equipment, and vehicle work areas to ensure optimal efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid in-state driver's license required.
  • Six months of customer service experience required.
  • Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Able to lift 40lbs.
