Your Contribution

The Training team at TSS is essential to our overall success. The Training Department provides tailored training for our Field Service Technicians to maintain the high standards of service for our clientele engaged in significant work. As a Technical Training Manager, you will spearhead employee development initiatives and uphold service excellence.

The Technical Training Manager will supervise training and technical support for all regional operational teams, ensuring the effectiveness and success of TSS' Training department. This position is crucial in educating and nurturing both current and future TSS personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned training content effectively.
  • Assist in the creation of new training materials.
  • Ensure the relevance of existing training materials.
  • Oversee the training center to meet current and future demands.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific technologies as required.
  • Contribute to the formulation of new procedures, technologies, and training methodologies.
  • Organize and manage training work orders, events, and rosters utilizing TSS Software.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and provide constructive feedback to relevant personnel.
  • Procure necessary materials for training sessions and centers.
  • Travel to various TSS Regional Offices for in-person training as needed.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications
Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications include NSF Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier Enhanced Accreditation and CETA CNBT-SCF Accreditation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of field service experience is required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Service Manager, eData software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-driven with outstanding time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including geometry and algebra.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
