Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Ambassador to join our team at Tomra. As a key member of our Sales and Service Departments, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients across the New England and Upstate NY Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Coordination and Support: Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction, including Sales, Service, Material Recovery, Billing, and Bar Code Department.
  • Manage Customer Contentment: Oversee customer satisfaction at the store level for designated accounts, including product pickup, supply provision, administrative tasks, and machine performance.
  • Resolve Product or Service Issues: Identify customer complaints, pinpoint the problem's cause, delegate and detail the issue to the relevant department for resolution, and conduct follow-ups to ensure resolution.
  • Expand Bottle Bill Initiatives: Aid in the expansion of the Bottle Bill in the assigned territory, including the rollout and introduction of RVM technology, addition of new categories, and increase in deposit values.
  • Chart and Organize Territory Coverage: Manage territory coverage across New England and Upstate New York, and schedule communication and meetings with customers.
  • Draft and Distribute Reports: Create and distribute weekly customer visit reports to functional stakeholders.
  • Conduct Store Bar Code Scans: Perform store bar code scans as necessary.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a College Degree and 2-4 years of experience in business. A valid clean driver's license is also required.

Language Skills: Must be fluent in English, with bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
