FACILITIES SECURITY OFFICER
NineTwelve is in search of a qualified individual to assume the role of Facilities Security Officer (FSO) and Facility Manager. Candidates must possess an active government security clearance along with relevant experience in Industrial Security and Facility Management or similar domains, and must hold certification as an FSO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and enforcing industrial and personnel security protocols to ensure adherence to the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual, 32 CFR part 117, and applicable Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
- Overseeing and managing Facility Clearance Level (FCL) to guarantee compliance with all pertinent regulations and guidelines.
- Conducting security audits, government inspections, and self-assessments in alignment with DCSA compliance requirements.
- Utilizing databases such as DISS, NISS, NBIS, NCAISS, among others, for operational purposes.
- Managing personnel security clearances, including verification of visitor clearances, COMSEC, and CAC verifications.
- Establishing and executing security protocols related to facility security, visitor management, and secure areas.
- Ensuring the appropriate handling of classified information.
- Designing and delivering annual security training and education programs to maintain compliance for all cleared personnel.
- Facilitating daily security operations, including foreign travel, personnel inquiries, investigations, reporting obligations, and initial security briefings.
- Acting as a liaison with clients, DoD, and IC agencies such as DCSA, as well as private contractors when necessary.
- Managing SAP programs and secure areas effectively.
- Assisting in the implementation of security measures in accordance with DD254 requirements.
- Supervising the daily operations of a DoD facility/site occupied by various contractors and government personnel.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- U.S. citizenship with a current/active Secret clearance and capability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Industrial Security.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM, CFR 32 part 117, and other ICD standards.
- Strong grasp of physical security measures.
- Extensive experience with DISS, NISS, NBIS, eQIP, JPAS, SWFT systems.
- Experience in managing SCIF, secure spaces, and closed area operations.
- Thorough understanding of relevant security regulations and documentation.
- Completion of CDSE FSO Certification is required.
