At American Senior Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to enhance the overall health and quality of life for our residents through the assessment of nutritional status and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop an individualized nutritional plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify residents' current needs for nutrition services and those residents at nutritional risk using clinical knowledge and experience.
  • Interview residents, family members, legal representatives, and significant others to obtain and update information needed to develop individualized plans of care.
  • Work cooperatively with members of the interdisciplinary and clinical teams.
  • Conduct regular meal observations and interviews staff and residents to ensure that all residents are receiving food in the amount, type, consistency, and frequency to maintain adequate nutritional parameters.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a $85,000 - $110,000 per year salary, alternative schedules after 90 days of employment, including remote work options, a range of benefits, including paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, medical, vision & dental insurance, and more.

Qualifications:
  • Must have and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
  • All Registered Dietitians will hold a current certification and/or license in the state(s) in which they are practicing.
  • Nutrition documentation experience is preferred.
