POSITION OVERVIEW:

AS THE SUPPLY CHAIN INVENTORY MANAGER AT TELFAR, YOU WILL BE INSTRUMENTAL IN ENHANCING AND STREAMLINING INVENTORY CONTROL AND ASSOCIATED OPERATIONS. COLLABORATING CLOSELY WITH THE PRODUCTION TEAM, YOU WILL HELP REALIZE THE COMPANY'S PRODUCT STRATEGY.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

LOGISTICS COORDINATION & TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT

  • PROACTIVELY MANAGE ALL ASPECTS OF INVENTORY TRACKING, PLANNING, AND LOGISTICS OPERATIONS.
  • ADMINISTER ASSEMBLY ITEMS IN NETSUITE; COLLABORATE WITH PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION, AND E-COMMERCE TEAMS ON INVENTORY AND COMPONENT MANAGEMENT.
  • ENGAGE WITH VARIOUS PURCHASE ORDER PROCESSES ACROSS PRODUCTION, ACCOUNTING, E-COMMERCE, AND MERCHANDISING TEAMS TO ENSURE DETAILED INVENTORY OWNERSHIP.
  • FACILITATE PLANNING MEETINGS TO ALIGN LOGISTICS TEAMS WITH PRODUCT TEAMS TO MAINTAIN ACCURATE INVENTORY DATA IN NETSUITE AND SHOPIFY.
  • WORK CLOSELY WITH SHIPPING CARRIERS AND LOGISTICS TEAMS TO ENSURE TRANSPARENT VISIBILITY OF INVENTORY ACROSS WAREHOUSES AND THIRD-PARTY LOGISTICS PROVIDERS.
  • COLLABORATE WITH BUSINESS AFFAIRS AND OPERATIONS TEAMS TO EXPAND INVENTORY AND LOGISTICS CAPABILITIES.
  • PROVIDE OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS AND INSIGHTS ON EXISTING SYSTEMS RELATED TO INVENTORY AND LOGISTICS PROCESSES.

INVENTORY & MATERIALS MANAGEMENT

  • DEVELOP INVENTORY STRATEGIES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OPERATIONAL TEAMS.
  • ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN TARGET INVENTORY AND MATERIAL LEVELS ON A GLOBAL SCALE.
  • MONITOR AND CONTROL INVENTORY LEVELS TO AVOID STOCKOUTS.
  • ENSURE OPTIMIZATION OF INVENTORY THROUGHOUT THE SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT.
  • COLLABORATE WITH SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT TEAMS FOR MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS.
  • TAKE ON ADDITIONAL PROJECTS AS REQUIRED, INCLUDING RETAIL INITIATIVES.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, OR A RELATED TECHNICAL FIELD IS PREFERABLE.
  • 5-7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING OR A SIMILAR ROLE.
  • EXPERIENCE IN THE APPAREL, ACCESSORIES, OR CONSUMER GOODS SECTOR.
  • CAPABLE OF LEADING AND ACHIEVING GOALS IN AMBIGUOUS STRATEGIC ENVIRONMENTS.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF ERP OR SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IS DESIRABLE.
  • RESOURCEFUL INDIVIDUAL WITH A WILLINGNESS TO ENGAGE IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE ROLE.
  • EXCEPTIONAL ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  • ABILITY TO WORK BOTH INDEPENDENTLY AND AS PART OF A TEAM.
  • IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH NETSUITE AND CELIGO OR SIMILAR ERP SYSTEMS.
  • DETAIL-ORIENTED WITH STRONG PLANNING AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
  • CAPABLE OF STRUCTURED THINKING TO EXECUTE LONG-TERM PROJECTS.
  • RESOURCEFULNESS IN LEVERAGING MULTIPLE RESOURCES TO INFORM AND SUPPORT CRITICAL DECISIONS.
