Overview

Aquent Talent is looking for a GCP & Database Infrastructure Developer. This position is essential for the upkeep and enhancement of server setups and database systems. You will serve as the primary expert for all matters concerning Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and server administration, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the systems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer and enhance GCP infrastructure to guarantee maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Set up and manage server environments, ensuring they are both secure and scalable.
  • Supervise database systems, including installation, upkeep, and issue resolution.
  • Formulate and execute disaster recovery strategies to address critical failures.
  • Assess system performance and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Work closely with the development team to facilitate smooth integration of new functionalities and updates.
  • Offer technical assistance and mentorship to fellow team members as required.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in GCP, database systems, and server management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in administering and optimizing GCP environments.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems and server configurations.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Capability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model.
