POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Associate Manager [AM] is being groomed to take on the leadership role within the restaurant management team.

The AM is tasked with completing all necessary Training Certifications by successfully demonstrating competencies for each position prior to advancing to the General Manager role.

The AM reports directly to the designated General Manager [GM] and/or the District Manager [DM]. The AM is responsible for implementing the policies, procedures, and directives established by the GM and/or DM.

As the future store leader, the AM must be capable of performing all restaurant operations as required and ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures. This includes overseeing the overall guest experience and ensuring the safety and security of team members and company assets.

The AM must possess strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and leadership. Professional appearance, speech, and conduct are expected at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
During the training period, the AM will observe and learn to manage daily operations, including:

1. Overseeing team members and shift leaders, exemplifying company standards for quality service, cleanliness, product knowledge, and accuracy in execution.

2. Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and readiness, demanding excellence in all tasks performed.

3. Leading by example and ensuring compliance with standards among team members.

4. Performing quality checks and ensuring adherence to company procedures throughout the day, including food and beverage accuracy.

5. Maintaining optimal staffing levels by effectively scheduling and aligning roles with skill sets, while driving the training process to develop a versatile team.

6. Conducting or delegating training for team members.

Management of Scheduling and Payroll:
1. Writing schedules, managing requests, verifying hours worked, and approving weekly payroll while maintaining employee files in compliance with applicable laws.

2. Approving time and tip reporting for payroll hours.

3. Managing inventory and ordering processes, including external procurement.

4. Addressing performance-related issues and reporting to GM and/or DM, while conducting team member evaluations.

5. Reconciling daily audits and receipts, overseeing sales, comps, voids, and employee meals, while conducting blind drops.

6. Ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures during deposit drops.

7. Handling customer complaints and reporting to GM and/or DM, performing table visits to ensure order accuracy, food quality, and guest satisfaction.

8. Overseeing equipment maintenance and service.

9. Managing catering inquiries and following up on processes.

10. Implementing all company methods, systems, and processes.

Regular and Predictable Attendance:
The scheduled working hours for this position may vary throughout the week.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. 21+ years of age.
2. High school diploma required; a college or culinary school degree is preferred but not mandatory.
3. 3 – 5 years of restaurant management experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a General Manager.
4. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
5. Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
6. Dependable, honest, and trustworthy with integrity.
7. Courteous and enthusiastic demeanor.
8. Exceptional communication and guest service skills.
9. Basic math and computer proficiency.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish priorities.
11. Efficient multitasking capabilities.
12. Accountability and punctuality in delivering high-quality, professional work.
13. Successful completion of all Training Certifications.
14. Proficiency in Aloha POS and Microsoft Excel.
