FLSA STATUS:
Exempt ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking an Event Manager.
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service in the planning, organization, and oversight of events within the facility. The Event Manager will handle logistics and all coordination tasks from the moment events are scheduled until their successful conclusion. Key responsibilities include:MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervising all operational aspects related to events and assisting in managing Event Services personnel.
Collaborating with client groups to effectively plan and organize assigned meetings and events.
Coordinating activities with various service providers for assigned events.
Advising clients on event preparations by clarifying contract details, policies, and procedures.
Keeping clients updated on critical deadlines, including floor plan submissions, room setup specifications, insurance requirements, and other pertinent details.
Preparing cost estimates and overseeing final billing processes.Ensuring clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed requirements to operational departments. Assisting in scheduling operational setups to meet equipment or service needs. Monitoring and supervising facility setups as necessary.
Acting as the primary liaison between clients and facility departments.
Overseeing in-house events, maintaining close communication with clients and facility staff to ensure successful outcomes. Following up on all client requests, concerns, and issues.
Participating in relevant planning, organization, and other event and facility meetings to support operations.
Serving as the manager on duty as required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
1 to 2 years of relevant experience and/or training
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with the principles of facility management, services, and equipment for similar venues
Skills and Abilities
Outstanding organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Capability to prioritize multiple projects
Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills
Supervisory experience is preferred
Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
