Job Summary

Carnegie Learning is seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our outside sales team, you will be responsible for executing sales campaigns, qualifying leads, and closing sales. You will work closely with K-12 educators and colleagues in all departments to develop and grow strategic, long-term partnerships with new clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Attain and surpass sales goals by advancing the sale and building customer relationships
- Create and execute marketing and strategic territory plans with excellent organization and follow-through
- Identify and maximize client opportunities, promoting the value of Carnegie Learning educational products and services
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and implement customized educational solutions that support each client's business strategies and needs

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Education; Master's degree in a job-related area preferred
- Five (5) or more years of experience in education, business development, and strategic account management with a record of high performance
- Consultative sales experience in Education Publishing/Ed Tech
- Experience developing and selling complex value propositions
- Strong research skills and ability to identify client needs
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate professionally, persuasively, and confidently over phone, email, and in face-to-face appointments
