Job Summary:

Gastro Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to lead our team of healthcare professionals. As a Medical Assistant Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update patient medical charts with accurate and timely documentation
  • Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider
  • Provide patient education and personal patient care to promote comfort and well-being
  • Process prescription refills under the direction of the provider
  • Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with clinic employees, managers, and providers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred
