About Our Organization

Position Summary
In the role of Case Manager, you will be instrumental in facilitating effective case management, housing search, and advocacy services for individuals at our Emergency Shelters. You will oversee shelter case managers and assist the Program Director in the management of departmental operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations and exit interviews with clients.
- Formulate and execute goal-oriented plans for clients, identifying obstacles and solutions.
- Provide referrals for health, education, vocational training, employment, counseling, and legal services, offering advocacy as necessary.
- Participate in client meetings, case discussions, and group consultations.
- Resolve conflicts and deliver crisis intervention as needed.
- Ensure adherence to agency policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the tracking database.
- Offer administrative support in the absence of the Program Director.
- Engage in regular staff meetings, supervisions, training sessions, and conferences.
- Perform additional duties as required to maintain program effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred, or two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of homelessness issues and housing search processes.
- Experience in networking with service agencies and community resources.
- Demonstrated flexibility, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to service delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, telephone, and time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Cultural competence is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (training provided by MHSA).

- Salary: $49,000 - $52,000 annually.
