Intellectual Disability Support Worker

As a Personal Assistant - Self Directed Services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving their goals and living independently. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, community integration, money management, advocacy, employment needs, and respite, while continually seeking opportunities to meet individuals' psychosocial needs. You will also provide reliable, safe, high-quality services as directed, in a thorough and caring manner, and implement a person-centered approach to services.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with one year of practical experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with individuals, families, and other professionals.
Working Conditions:
- This is a part-time position with varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, with reliable transportation required, and a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation:
- An estimated salary of $45,000 per year based on experience and qualifications, plus opportunities for professional growth and development within the organization.
