Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
- Operate and maintain various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
- Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance practices.
- Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Train and mentor other engineers as needed.
- Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
- Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
