Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment, and visual inspections of tools and machinery
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed
  • Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved communication protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience in general maintenance and hotel engineering a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the hotel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
  • Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes
