Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer II to join our team at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
  • Supervisory experience is not required.
