Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Faculty member to join our team in the Doctorate in Education program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the Department of Research, Counseling, and Curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Develop and teach graduate-level courses in educational research methods, with a focus on quantitative and mixed-methods expertise.
  • Research: Conduct and supervise research in the doctoral program, chairing and serving on doctoral committees, and publishing scholarly work.
  • Service: Provide service to the college, university, community, and profession through committee work, professional development, and community engagement.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate from an accredited university in Education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated capacity for a robust research agenda with potential for national and international recognition.
  • Research record demonstrating potential for obtaining external funding.
  • Assistant Professor: Early-level career as a faculty member with 0-4 years of experience.
  • Associate Professor: Mid-level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training and experience.
  • Professor: Salary and compensation commensurate with education, experience, and achievements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in quantitative and/or mixed-methods research, with proficiency in related software packages.
  • Identified substantive area of interest, such as program evaluation, educational psychology, or educational policy studies.
  • K-12 teaching experience, teaching experience at the college level, or experience engaging in research in P-20 settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty and mentor students.
