About the Job:
Ropeswing Hospitality Group seeks an ambitious and skilled sous chef to take on the role of Executive Sous Chef - Bentonville. Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, this position offers a unique blend of culinary creativity, leadership, and operational expertise. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our restaurant concept, from menu development to kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum 5 years of progressive line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen, with a strong background in inventory management, menu development, and leadership. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative cuisine, you will work closely with our Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine to create seasonal menus, manage inventory, and maintain high culinary standards. Your ability to motivate and manage a team effectively will be essential in driving success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as a liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  2. Assist the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in menu development, inventory management, and kitchen operations
  3. Supervise line cooks, prep cooks, and other kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed
  4. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine to create seasonal menus for pop-up bars, private hires, and events

Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of progressive line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
* Strong background in inventory management, menu development, and leadership
* Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
* Knowledge of various cooking techniques and menu development
