Medical Assistant PRN

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant PRN to join our team at CareNow. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures, including injections and lab testing
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
- Coordinate patient transfers and scheduling of follow-up care
- Screen incoming calls and refer patients to physicians and practitioners as needed
- 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting preferred
- Experience using an EHR system is highly valued
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program required
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is highly desirable
