Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality metrics to monitor and improve software quality
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and industry best practices
  • Utilize quality tools and methodologies, such as DMAIC, to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified defects
  • Document and report quality assurance activities and findings
  • Assess the product team's performance, capability, process gaps, and improvement areas
  • Develop, establish, and enforce quality assurance standards and measures within the organization, with an emphasis on frontloading quality efforts
  • Collaborate with development teams to diagnose issues in software resulting from test validation discrepancies, contributing to the resolution
  • Perform thorough software code review analysis to identify potential issues and improvements
  • Support the development of standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Collaborate with product teams to continually improve their products and development process, providing support to identify lessons learned, develop true preventative actions, and track them to completion
  • Participate in planned internal and external audits and actively follow up on findings until closure
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of quality metrics and their application to continuous improvement processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge and experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, EazyBI, Confluence)
  • Working knowledge and experience with DOORS Requirement Management Tool
  • Agile SW Development Methodologies preferred
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of work experience in Quality Management (SW, HW, or Supplier), Software Development, or Testing, or SW Project Management required
