Job Overview

MBS Pro Staffing is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician. This role is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the resolution of internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Conduct audits of the manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate materials and products, generating Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Establish and document testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and suppliers to oversee the calibration procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in auditing production processes.
  • Assess and validate incoming raw material COAs and Certificates of Compliance (COCs).
  • Support the corrective and preventive action initiatives by performing laboratory tests (including Hot Set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator/Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers, and other necessary lab instruments).
  • Assist in ensuring calibration compliance and equipment verification.
  • Provide training to the production staff on quality control practices to enhance product quality.
  • Maintain the accuracy of measurement instruments by adhering to calibration protocols and requesting repairs when necessary.
  • Gather and analyze quality data.
  • Contribute to the formulation of testing methods and inspection strategies.
  • Identify the root causes of product defects and necessary reworks.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • AMPP NACE Level I certification is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is desired.
  • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Audits, Cash Flow, and Closing processes is advantageous.
