MBS Pro Staffing is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician. This role is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee the resolution of internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Conduct audits of the manufacturing process.
- Evaluate materials and products, generating Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Establish and document testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with Engineering and suppliers to oversee the calibration procedures.
- Experience in auditing production processes.
- Assess and validate incoming raw material COAs and Certificates of Compliance (COCs).
- Support the corrective and preventive action initiatives by performing laboratory tests (including Hot Set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator/Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers, and other necessary lab instruments).
- Assist in ensuring calibration compliance and equipment verification.
- Provide training to the production staff on quality control practices to enhance product quality.
- Maintain the accuracy of measurement instruments by adhering to calibration protocols and requesting repairs when necessary.
- Gather and analyze quality data.
- Contribute to the formulation of testing methods and inspection strategies.
- Identify the root causes of product defects and necessary reworks.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- AMPP NACE Level I certification is preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is desired.
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Audits, Cash Flow, and Closing processes is advantageous.
