Residential Construction Land Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for acquiring undeveloped land or finished lots for development, working closely with property owners, brokers, land developers, city officials, and other stakeholders to secure land opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and secure land acquisition leads, ensuring timely and efficient processing of new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with land developers, brokers, and land owners to identify and secure potential land leads.
  • Analyze the financial aspects of each development opportunity, providing recommendations to management on the viability of each project.
  • Negotiate purchase contracts with sellers, ensuring fair and competitive terms.
  • Communicate regularly with city officials to ensure compliance with local regulations and ordinances.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction, with a strong understanding of land development principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, with a high level of attention to detail.
