Job Summary

Poulos & Bennett is seeking a highly skilled Land Development Construction Manager to lead our land development projects in Orlando, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations, managing contractor and consulting contracts, and ensuring the successful development of residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preconstruction management, including writing RFPs, bid documents, and schedules of values
  • Reviewing bids and proposals for completeness and accuracy
  • Creating and updating project schedules
  • Coordinating with utility companies and scheduling site visits
  • Ensuring quality control and quality assurance processes
  • Managing on-site and off-site development activities, including demolition, earthwork, and utilities
  • Reviewing contractor pay requests and shop drawings
  • Project closeout and coordination with local municipalities
  • Effective communication with clients, employees, contractors, and government officials

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in land development or a related field
  • Proven experience with engineering drawings and project scheduling
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in project management software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or planning
