SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Systems Engineer to provide technical and program services to the U.S. Government (USG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing information assurance (IA) solutions to ensure the security of our customers' systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop processes, procedures, and templates to ensure IA, security systems, and security components align with security policies and enterprise solutions.
  • Provide innovative solutions to assist programs address significant security challenges associated with their cutting-edge programs.
  • Review program activities for assessing and mitigating systems and cloud-based security threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance to programs in the identification and implementation of novel information security functionality to ensure uniform application of security policy and enterprise solutions.
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, networks, and data users are aware of, understand, and follow organizational information assurance policies and procedures.
  • Validate that information assurance software, hardware, firmware, and supporting infrastructure comply with security configuration guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience
  • Information Assurance Manager Level III certification, such as: GSLC, CISM, CISSP, or CCISO
  • Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills for written reports, group discussion, and oral presentations

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient skills and experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Proficient skills using JIRA and Confluence
  • Satellite and/or ground knowledge
  • Prior US military and/or IC customer experience
