SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to provide technical and program services to the U.S. Government (USG). The selected candidate will be part of a team providing research, engineering, design, analysis, acquisition, development, integration, test, and operations support to USG Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing processes, procedures, and templates to ensure information assurance (IA), security systems, and security components align with security policies and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing innovative solutions to address significant security challenges associated with cutting-edge programs.
  • Reviewing program activities for assessing and mitigating systems and cloud-based security threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Providing guidance to programs in the identification and implementation of novel information security functionality to ensure uniform application of security policy and enterprise solutions.
  • Developing and implementing programs to ensure that systems, networks, and data users are aware of, understand, and follow organizational information assurance policies and procedures.
  • Validating that information assurance software, hardware, firmware, and supporting infrastructure comply with security configuration guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications include:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience.
  • Information Assurance Manager Level III certification, such as GSLC, CISM, CISSP, or CCISO.
  • Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills for written reports, group discussion, and oral presentations.

Desired qualifications include:

  • Proficient skills and experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Proficient skills using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Satellite and/or ground knowledge.
  • Prior US military and/or IC customer experience.
