The Sponsor requires a team to coordinate and manage technical projects in support of a mission-impact focused office. The team will support technical projects spanning financial industry, telecommunications, media, and energy sectors.

The Cyber Security Project Engineer will support technical projects spanning financial industry, telecommunications, media, and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform risk analysis and assessments on cloud-based systems and hybrid architectures to include Java-based applications.
  • Review vulnerability assessments utilizing tools such as Rapid 7, Web Inspect, and AppDetective.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security support structures utilizing Linux and Windows technologies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security support structures for HADOOP Ecosystems.
  • Assist with the design, engineering, and development of highly secure systems built upon Amazon Web Services.
  • Audit and monitor systems utilizing various tools, such as Splunk or similar metrics solutions.
  • Perform continuous security monitoring and develop strategies for remediation.
  • Participate in architecture design and reviews.
  • Use XACTA and Microsoft Office.

Security Clearance:

Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret Clearance w/ FS Poly Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.


Qualifications:

  • Experience complying with the Sponsor's Risk Management Framework.
  • Experience with Linux administration.
  • Experience with multiple cloud vendors such as Azure, Oracle, Google or similar.

o Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
