Job Summary:
Computer Task Group (CTG) is seeking a highly skilled Characterization Engineer to join our team. As a Characterization Engineer, you will be responsible for using Focused Ion Beam (FIB) to prepare samples for Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy (TEM and SEM) and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use FIB to prepare samples for TEM and SEM analysis.
- Perform SEM, including chemical analysis (EDS), with a focus on metallization.
- Utilize other available characterization techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with the process team to perform characterization of wafers.
- Execute processes on wafers for research and development and for characterization preparation.
- Perform tool qualifications and maintain tool and process qualification records.
- Work in a team environment to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- PhD in engineering or a related field is preferred; a Master's degree is also considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
