POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the guidance of the Senior Communications Manager, the Content Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and managing marketing content that drives engagement and awareness. This position is integral to supporting the overall marketing strategies of the Foundation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the organization and execution of marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Compile and present reports on the performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors for promotional materials and production needs.
  • Coordinate submissions for national branding initiatives and public relations requests.
  • Contribute to the creation and production of marketing collateral, while monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Manage a comprehensive content calendar to align with marketing strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison with external content creators to ensure brand consistency.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess campaign performance and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Organize a content database for easy access and management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to enhance content marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to incorporate feedback and improve the overall experience for constituents.
  • Provide insights on SEO strategies to optimize marketing content.
  • Conduct research on market trends and audience preferences.
  • Oversee inventory of marketing materials and update as necessary.
  • Engage with wish families to gather stories and content for promotional use.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in writing, editing, and non-profit marketing.
  • Familiarity with design software and desktop publishing.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and relevant technologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.

Education:

1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations is preferred. An Associate's degree in a related field is advantageous, with a Bachelor's degree being a plus.
