Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to enhance our dynamic finance team. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong affinity for numbers and a solid understanding of financial documentation and transactions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in accounting and bookkeeping, demonstrating proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable, tax preparation, and bank reconciliation, as well as utilizing QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions).
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all facets of our financial systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
  2. Maintain precise and current financial records.
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  4. Manage tax preparation and filing processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop to manage and track all financial transactions.
  6. Collaborate with the finance team to enhance financial processes and systems.
  7. Assist in the development and management of budgets and financial forecasts.
  8. Provide financial insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  9. Ensure confidentiality and safeguard operations by maintaining the confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role within the finance sector.
  2. Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions) is essential.
  3. Extensive experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax preparation, and bank reconciliation.
  4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Proven experience in public accounting.
  6. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  7. Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to interpret financial data.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
