Job Title: Billing and Subcontract Administrator

Marous Brothers Construction (MBC) is a leading construction firm in the Midwest, offering integrated services for complete construction solutions. We are seeking a self-motivated Billing and Subcontract Administrator to join our team.

Job Summary

The Billing and Subcontract Administrator is responsible for reviewing and finalizing monthly client billings, processing and paying subcontractor A/P invoices, and performing other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Project Managers to review and process client invoices
  • Provide and verify all supporting documents required by contract
  • Prepare other miscellaneous invoices/billings specific to job requirements
  • Assist Project Managers in collecting A/R and improving the overall DSO metric
  • Review, enter, and pay subcontractor invoices in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure the accuracy of waivers, insurance, workers' compensation, and other required paperwork prior to processing payments
  • Review and process subcontract change orders using DocuSign
  • Handle all calls and requests relating to accounts payable to subcontractors and project managers
  • Backup for standard trade A/P invoice processing
  • Coordinate with all departments to maintain consistent billing and A/P policies and procedures
  • Identify areas to improve efficiencies while maintaining controls
  • Develop client and subcontractor relationships
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • 2-3 years accounting experience, billing preferred
  • Construction background preferred but not required
  • Excellent math aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Windows environment (Viewpoint software a plus)
