As technology evolves, so do the challenges faced by those safeguarding our nation. Our program is designed to provide advanced technical infrastructure support globally, ensuring that our clients can access vital evidence to combat crime and terrorism effectively.

The Senior Software Engineer will undertake the following tasks:

  • Analyze and manage trouble tickets to swiftly resolve technical issues. Collaborate closely with helpdesk and software development teams to address user and system challenges in a large-scale application utilized by numerous users. Supervise software deployments and enhance the Microsoft TFS CI/CD pipeline. Investigate and resolve technical problems using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and implement data corrections as necessary.
  • Oversee and refine the existing software deployment methodology.
  • Prepare and disseminate daily status updates.

Note: This position requires on-site support during standard business hours.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current TS/SCI clearance with the capability to obtain a polygraph.
  • A bachelor’s degree accompanied by a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with at least three (3) years of experience; or a PhD with no prior experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in programming and software development, covering analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and/or upgrading of software systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while ensuring 24/7 operational availability.
  • Proficient in authoring and executing SQL statements and PowerShell scripts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft BI Cube, data warehouses, or reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A current TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.
  • A bachelor’s degree with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with six (6) years of experience; or a PhD with three (3) years of experience.
  • Over ten (10) years of experience in programming and software development, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and/or upgrading of software systems.

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This range represents the typical salary for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
