We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead a crucial software development project at Vosago. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality code in ReactJS and Python, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency, and robustness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the software development with company goals and customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a growing team, eventually taking on direct reports and aiding in team expansion.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to optimize the development process.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our software development practices, standards, and tooling.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a proven track record in ReactJS and Python.
  • Strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • US Citizens or permanent residents only.
  • Veterans preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a development project or a team.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of: GraphQL, SPAs, Federated identity/SSO.
