Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Two Six Technologies. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a critical role in advancing technology in the areas of resilient communications, next-generation networking, security, and privacy in mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, test, and implement research programs focused on advancing technology in the areas of resilient communications, next-generation networking, security, and privacy in mobile platforms
  • Develop custom software solutions for both prototype and production-level systems on mobile phones and other resource-constrained platforms
  • Identify security and privacy risks of various apps, systems, and architectures
  • Become intimately familiar with all aspects of what goes on inside of today's smartphones, including the hardware, kernel, drivers, firmware, framework, and apps
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with C/C++
  • Familiarity with standard Linux software engineering tools, e.g., git, gcc, make
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance up to TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Android app development or Android OS modification
  • Experience with network stack development, mesh networking, or tactical handheld radios
  • Experience with wireless (NFC/Bluetooth/802.11/LTE) protocols and hardware
  • Experience with the Rust programming language
  • An active DoD clearance (Secret or above)
