Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ice Skate Instructor to join our team at Bend Park and Recreation District. As an Ice Skate Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching ice skating programs to youth and adults, providing a safe and enjoyable learning experience for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach ice skating programs to youth and adults
  • Provide a safe and enjoyable learning experience for participants
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of participants
  • Assess participant progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of ice skating instruction and safety guidelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff
  • Physical ability to perform duties
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others

Working Conditions:

Depending on the program, duties may be performed indoors or outdoors, which may include working in extreme weather conditions. Work schedule is varied and may require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
