Job Title: Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Research Scientist to join our team at the University of North Texas System. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting biomedical experiments in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, epigenetics, inflammation, and animal studies as guided by the Principal Investigator.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and conduct experiments in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, epigenetics, inflammation, and animal studies
* Maintain experimental records
* Analyze experimental data
* Report research to the Principal Investigator
* Carry out lab routines such as reagent preparation, lab organizing, receiving, purchasing, and others
* Help in manuscript writing

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Knowledge and skills in using a range of software programs including Microsoft Office Suite, SPSS, and STATA
* Ability to work independently and organize and prioritize tasks
* Ability to communicate effectively and perform other administrative/clerical tasks
